"Best Launch Wii-ware game I think so"

Final Fantasy: My Life as a King

How can begin my very first wii-ware review that will please everyone including me? Well I guess I will discuss one of the best GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED THAT I DOWNLOADED MONDAY AND HAVE BEATEN IT. Yes, I played FF: MLaaK for 11 Hours and 6 minutes.

Story-
You are in control of a town that you could name yourself that has been in ruins since your father kingdom has fallen that you found along with Chime and Sir Hugh. As you develop the town and send off your adventures off to their duties, you will learn how to build new buildings that will make your citizens happier or allow your adventures to buy some wares. Since you now have, shops for your adventures to buy from you can conduct research to increase the adventure use.

Controls-
Well I prefer to use the classic control for this game since there is no motion controls at all. In addition, using just the wiimote makes moving a pain since I have to hold it like a remote and not a controller. Therefore, I choose the classic controller since I have gotten use to it since I have been playing many of my Snes games lately that I downloaded. Here are the basic controls for the classic controller, y to call chime to build, raise morale or go to sleep early. X allows you to view your city from a bird's eye view. a is proceed and b is to decline or go back a menu. The left Analog stick controls your movement while the right controls the camera angle on yourself. L places the camera on default. That is it for the basic controls.

Graphics-
I think I lost myself seeing this game run for the first time because it was just amazing how it looked for a launch Wii-ware title. I could compare this to Super Mario Sunshine because it just looks that good. The detail that is in the cut scenes and the town itself is just simple breath taking. I know how hard it is just to get basics graphics since I design and program games all the time and I know this is some of the best I seen that is downloadable in a long time.

Audio-
Well I like the background music they made a lot but I think it could use a little bit more oomph but the sound effects are just amazing. Because it helps, you get through the long days where you are trying to build more houses for your town and talk to all your citizens so you can boost your morale a tiny bit. What I think is great about all of the music and sound of this game is that it all goes together in perfect harmony.

Overall-
This game is a perfect introduction to Wii-ware. This game set the bar of wii-ware to a high level because how addicted it is. I have not have the chance to download any of the extras yet because I think this game is just amazing without them. I give Final Fantasy: My Life as a King a 9/10.
