"probably the worst sports game EA has ever made"

Wow I don't remember being more disappointed by a video game. There really isn't much to say about this game except what a let down. EA does such a good job with madden and screwed up so horribly with arena football.

GRAPHICS 7/10
Just mediocre that's a very good description of it. These graphics are nothing special not as good as maddens but that will soon become a trend.

CONTROLS 3/10
Very poorly thought out controls I had to watch each tutorial about three times and I still don't really understand them. The buttons such as turbo are changed so much from offense to defense all the thing in this game was changed around so much you get confused you have almost no idea what to do.

SOUND 4/10
Wow this bad sound and sound track might just be the best thing about this horribly lost game. Every hit is basically the same grunting noise over and over again. The crowd roar is very dull and seemingly uninterested.

GAME PLAY 2/10
Not much to say hear send your receiver then snap keeps your linebacker in the box. So many features and rules from actual arena football done so poorly. Defense is so hard offense is way to easy I picked up the controller played a game and scored every time and let them score equally as many times even after I only understood about half of the tutorials. The one and only bright spot in this horribly confusing game play and controls is hitting people into and over walls. Also since when do you have to unlock currently active teams by completing challenges? Some thing went totally wrong in EA when they decided to make this game.

OVERALL 3/10
I'm being incredibly lenient by giving this game a 3. I mean it this game has just been a mess put onto a play station 2 disc. I am very glad I rented this game instead of wasting 40 or 50 bucks on it. Although I should have rented something else I plan on returning this game as soon as possible to get game that might not totally suck and confuse the living hell out of me.

BUY RENT OR DON'T BOTHER
Well if you have even skimmed through my review you will know that I defiantly recommend not bothering with this game save yourself the confusion and annoyance that this game will provide for any one who plays it or buying it will just bug you that you wasted so much money on this game.
