"A good puzzle game, but thats it."

Introduction:

Eggo Mania is a game by Kemco, in this game your goal is to build a high tower from falling puzzle pieces. This is a one versus one game where the one that reaches the top first wins. While building, the rising water can destroy your progress and thus making you start all over again. The puzzle pieces fall from the sky and by jumping to them you’ll gain controle over the blocks. With these blocks you can create the wall that you need to reach the top. The blocks come in different shapes so you can make everything connect on the other blocks. But if you don’t construct your wall with enough support it will collapse. Blocks are not the only thing you can get, you can get bubbles which allows you to jump higher or a bomb, throw the bomb at your opponent so that his tower will fall to pieces.

Gameplay: 7/10

The gameplay is good, when you play the game for the first time you don’t want to play the computer at its best. So Eggo Mania offers you multiple game modes where you can first practice a little on the controles. And you can face the computer on a harder level any time you feel like it.

Story: 3/10

Eggo mania doesn’t have a story, its not the kind of that requires one either. This is just a fun game to play when you’re bored.

Graphics/Sound: 7/10

The graphics are nice for a cartoon game like Eggo Mania, the background in the game is well done. The sound is nothing special, you hear a kind of carnival tune all through the game, after a while it gets pretty annoying but when you’re playing you won’t notice it anyway.

Life span: 6/10

If you like puzzle games, Eggo Mania will have a good life span for you. The game has 8 basic characters and various of modes. If you’re not really into puzzle games, Eggo Mania probably won’t last long.

Final recommendation:

Like I said, if you like puzzle games then Eggo Mania is a nice game to add to your collection, and if you’re not a fan of puzzle games, Eggo Mania won’t offer you that much. I picked the game up because it was so cheap, I don’t regret it. So if you see it for a good price just buy it. Best thing you could do is try to rent the game and see what you think of it.
