"Nothing to do with the movie?"

I have seen both movies and I would have to say they are pretty good. This game, however, deals with the ideas of the movie, but never happens in the movie.(if you have seen the second movie you will know why I say that.)This game does a good job bringing wolverine into the game world, but was lacking in a few areas.

Gameplay 8/10
The controls could have been better, but they worked for the game. I really liked the sneak attacks that you can perform; they really help when you are trying not to be noticed. You will not always be able to use them, and you will have to melee your way through the enemy. It is unfortunate that Wolverine could not use weapons; the whole game you depend upon your claws. The way the gameplay is set up allows you to access all of Wolverine's abilities.

Graphics 9/10
The graphics are definitely top of the line. They do a good job with long and short range graphics. The characters and enemies also look great. They probably could have done a few things better, so that is why I gave it a nine out of ten.

Sound 8/10
The sound quality was okay, and they used the voices from the movies. The sound is produced clear and easily heard.

Story 5/10
The story was nothing like the movie and was totally different.(that kinda bothered me) The story was good and well thought, but just didn't fit.

Unlockables 7/10
There were things to be unlocked, but I never found them all, and the game did not have an ''unlock all'' once you beat it. I did, however, think that it was a cool idea to give Wolverine different costumes to play in.

Buyability 4/10
A five day rental is what I recommend. It does not take very long to beat, and has no other modes to keep you interested.

Lifespan 6/10
The game does not last long, and there is not much reason to play it again.(unless you missed part of the storyline) The first time is about as good as it gets.

Overall 7/10
This game is great for those who are Wolverine fan or X-Men fans. If you do not like XMen or Wolverine then you will probably want to rent this game for longer than a day. (unless you plan on doing nothing but playing it that day.)
I give this game a seven out of ten, it just could have been a little better in some areas.
