"A Stylish and Worthy RPG"

Overview:

When I first heard about this game, I could not wait to get my hands on it. I love RPGs even though there are many that dissapoints me, ATL:TOTS is not one of them.

Graphics: (10)

From the first time I loaded up the game, I was amazed. Not only did the graphic blew me away, the designs of their characters are top-notch. I can not stand when I play a nice looking RPG but with the characters looking like little kids. In ATL:TOTS, the characters looks very mature, and each one is different. Also, Darc, one of the main character wins my award for the most bad-ass character in the RPG universe. He even looks cooler than Squall from FF8.

Sound: (10)

The music throughout the game is great. It gives you that epic feeling of the game. Star Wars like, and fits the mood. The voices of the characters are also good. They actually fit the characters. Darc's voice for example is well done.

Story: (10)

I am 10 hours into it and am still looking forward to see what is going to happen. The best part of this game is the surprise factor. Meaning that you will never know who is going to backstab you (Hint-Hint). But mainly, the story is about 2 races, the human and the deimos who are completely segregated. In the midst of the conflict, there are these things called Spirit Stones. To find out what they do, and what purpose they serve in the story, you gotta play the game.

Gameplay: (10)

This is the best part of the game. When you are fighting, it goes to a regular battle mode, but you are able to move your characters around and place them anywhere you want. Sort of like Vagrant Story, but not as complex. I really enjoy the battles because it brings a strategy type feel to it, like the Tactics series, and similar to playing chess. Not the same old Final Fantasy kind of deal.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a brand new RPG. This is your answer. This game is very entertaining and most importantly it is FUN! You can not go wrong, the Graphic and Character design is at their best. The Music is something that you can not complain about. The Voices of the Characters are Hollywoodish. Gameplay is something that you will not get tired of. Hmmm...A Great Game!!
