"The Best AFL Game Thus Far"

Hello Everyone and welcome to my AFL Premiership 2006 review. As for people who played the other games and experienced bad game play and glitches well I got news for you. AFL comes to life. The glitch in amount in this game has been taken out but just few remain, the game play improved with getting features like experience points to players.

The graphics stayed the same from last year but the improvement was their with the crowd showing the teams colours. Also if the opposition crowd think the free kick was unfair they boo. With some players in the last couple of games the faces looked to be mixed up, but now the IR GURUS have taken the time to improve the graphics and deliver a great fun game.

The game play was rock good with the career mode. You get to gain experience points for the players which they improve from the points. Also the difficulty can be superb when playing. Some teams can be Easy and some can be hard even on Easy. Also adding a special feature to game play which is missions mode. It is great fun and challenging. Just one more note this game includes Heritage round 16, it has Essendon's Red Shorts and etc.

The commentary is still bad and needs to be improved and the first point is to change the commentators from Dennis Cometti to Rex Hunt who puts more excitement to the game when he commentates. The game should stop putting the same words over and over again like " Judd... kicks... it out on the full" or " Essendon [number of points] in-front of... Carlton".

Just the let down for this game was some bugs still happen and that really ruined the good effort of IR GURUS work for this game.

Rent or Buy:
I Recommend to rent at first and if it turns out good then go for the buy when it gets down to $30 or $40.

So at the end AFL 2006 is a contender for any other AFL game and possibly the best thus far. I hope Afl 2007 can be a contender like this one but be better in some ways.
