Welcome to my Persona 3: FES FAQ/Walkthrough. As you can see from the table of
contents, I plan to include quite a bit of content into this one guide. Am I
crazy? Maybe so, but I've always been a bit of an information monger when
playing any kind of game and Persona 3 is no exception. If you've play the
original Persona 3, then The Journey will be nothing new to you, although there
are some new elements within The Journey for you to experience and some changes
to pre-existing content. These are:

- New Personas
- New Social Link (Aeon)
- New events with SEES members and friends
- New difficulty mode (Hard)
- New fusion system that allow you to fuse Personas to weapons
- New requests from Elizabeth
- And many more things

Besides the obvious new things for The Journey, there is a brand new story
element in FES, called The Answer. A month after the finale of The Journey, the
group finds itself in another situation that has them putting their trust in the
hands of a stranger. They are trapped in the school dorm and are reliving the
same day over and over again. Note that the difficulty of The Answer is
equivalent to The Journey's Hard mode (according to the manual, but it's said
that it's equal to Normal mode). You cannot use any saved data from The Journey
for The Answer; if you want any more details, check out the beginning section
of the walkthrough for The Answer.

One more thing before this introduction is wound up. Upon starting The Journey,
you will have the option of carrying over data from a save on the original
Persona 3. Note that you can use a save from ANYWHERE in the game and only
certain things will carry over. These things are as follows: Persona
Compendium (all Personas are reset to their base levels and skills), Fusion
Spells that you have performed, the current Academics, Charm and Courage
attributes, and the last thing that carries over is the items you receive from
the max Social Links. Nothing more and nothing less than those things.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES is quite a complicated game to beginners, but
maybe not as confusing to experienced players of the SMT franchise. The game
combines the life simulation genre with the traditional aspects of a RPG. The
life simulation portion of the game doesn't take the back burner, since you will
pretty much be living the life of a high school student, with the added twist
of fighting demons. The game is divided into two parts: The Journey, which is
the original Persona 3 game with new content, and The Answer, which is a brand
new story and like an expansion to The Journey.

                               (  THE JOURNEY  )
                                \=============/

The Journey is the original Persona 3 game with a lot of new content added. It
is basically divided into a normal high school student's school year and the
abnormal life of fighting the evil Shadows. Each day consists of time "periods"
divided into Early Morning, Morning, Lunchtime, Afternoon, After School,
Evening, and Late Night. There is one extra portion of the day; the Dark Hour,
which is a "hidden" hour that occurs every night at midnight, with no
exceptions. Note that sometimes, time will progress automatically through these
periods of time.

Early Mornings -- Spent going to school
Mornings -- Either a lecture or story event
Lunchtime -- Classmates asking if you'll hang out with them later
Afternoon -- In school, usually a lecture or story event
               -- During days off, free time
After School -- Free time to work on Social Links or other things
Evening -- Normally, can do whatever you want and only time you can go
                  to Tartarus
               -- Only a few Social Links can be worked on in the Evening and
                  only place you can visit outside of Dorm is Paulownia Mall
Late Night -- If you opt to not go to Tartarus, then you can either study
                  before sleeping or sleep earlier
Dark Hour -- Besides scripted events, you only see this if you choose to
                  go to Tartarus during the Evening

During days off, days are usually divided into Daytime, Evening, Late Night/Dark
Hour periods. During Daytime and Evening, you are pretty much free to do what
you want. Late Night is whenever you opt to not go to Tartarus and are given a
choice to either study or sleep earlier. Dark Hour will either be scripted
events or if you do decide to go to Tartarus.

( LAY OF THE LAND )

You will be spending an extraordinary amount of time outside of battle in The
Journey and there are quite a number of places to visit. At first, it can be
rather confusing because of not knowing what certain things do in the places
you visit. One of the main buildings in which you'll be seeing a lot of is
Gekkoukan High School, as the main story of The Journey revolves around the
school year. Here is a top-down view of the school:

(  SEEING THE SIGHTS  )
'-------------------'
On April 21 and onwards, you will have the option of being able to explore
the town and visit many places. The choices are Paulownia Mall, Port Island
Station, Iwatodai Station, Naganaki Shrine and the Dorm. Outside of the Dorm,
the only other place you can visit in the evening hours is Paulownia Mall.
Knowing the various functions of these places is ideal to get the full use of
everything. Note that if you return to the dorm during the daytime hours, you
will be forced into the evening hours, so make the most of your time and
try to do at least something in the day.

Paulownia Mall is the center for your shopping needs and the ideal place to
work on raising your attributes. You can buy armor, weapons, accessories and
even items to help you in-battle. There is even an entrance to the Velvet Room
in the alley beneath the stairs that lead to Club Mandragora. New to FES is the
ability to play games at the Game Panic arcade, which allows you to raise
attributes and even the stats of your equipped Persona.

Port Island Station doesn't house much, but it does have a movie theater, a
floral shop and it also is home to a darker side in the back alleyways. The
main focus of Iwatodai Station is the numerous fast food restaurants that can
improve your attributes. The Naganaki Shrine is home to some of the more unique
functions in the game, with an offeratory box that can increase Academics and
a fortune box that can actually improve you relationship with your Social Links.
The Dormitory is where you and the other SEES members live, and it is where your
base of operations pretty much is located (also is where you can save your
game). The following table shows all of the functions in the various places,
along with when you can and can't visit them:

**NOTE: You can only visit Port Island Station, Iwatodai Station and the
        Naganaki Shrine during the day. Paulownia Mall and the Dorm are the only
        two places available to you in the night.

(  ATTRIBUTES  )

You may have noticed above about some of the functions granting an increase
in Academics, Charm or Courage. These are your attributes and they affect many
things, such as Social Links and certain events throughout the game. There are
a variety of ways to raise each attribute, and with each one having up to 6
levels. All of the attributes use a point system to denote when one should go
up a rank and each action that raises that attribute gives a set number of
points. The following are all of the actions, rank names and the points needed
to rank for the attributes:

                               (  THE ANSWER  )
                                \============/

This new chapter, exclusive to FES, shows the rest of the story that happens
after the end of The Journey. It takes place about a month after the finale of
The Journey, where everyone will find themselves in another dangerous situation
where they are trapped inside their dorm. They have to put their trust in
someone they don't know, while they will have to traverse another series of
battles hoping to find an answer. Note that the difficulty of The Answer is
equivalent to Hard mode on The Journey.

The Answer is a pretty simple play mode, where you are limited in what you can
do. You do not have access to a Compendium, weapon fusion, Social Links, your
attributes, fusion spells or requests from Elizabeth. You do get access to
shops, but you can't access them from the start. Aigis will gain the ability
to be able to use multiple Personas, with a maximum of 12 slots from the very
beginning (Athena will not be available at all).

.----------------------------.
( TIPS & TRICKS FOR THE GAME )
'----------------------------'
- On your very first playthrough of the game, it's best to play without a guide
  and only use one if you are really stuck in the game.

- Note that if you transfer data from the original Persona 3 over to FES, you'll
  have access to your Compendium when it becomes available. There are no level
  restrictions here, as you only need enough money to be able to summon any
  Persona you have.

- If you're new to the game, play on Easy or Normal, since Hard is quite
  difficult if you don't know the ins and outs of the game.

- Trying to max all Socials Links on your first playthrough is highly not
  recommended, as it tends to detract from the overall enjoyment of the game. It
  is much easier to max all of the Social Links on a New Game+.

- Depending on whether you get fusion crazy or not, you will be able to find a
  lot of equipment during your exploration of Tartarus. That means it might not
  be a good thing to buy equipment from the police station every single time it
  is upgraded.

- Early in the game, it's wise to make sure you have all four basic elements
  covered in your skills. Likewise with the offensive spells, you will want to
  make sure you have Personas that will cut the damage of elemental spells down.

- Later in the game, it's still important to keep the basic elements covered,
  but you'll have to start keeping the light and dark aspects covered. Light and
  dark attacks either kill (hit) or not kill (miss); there's no damage involved.

- Social Links can be quite intimidating, but it's not necessarily that bad.
  Do school-time Links during school days and when you have school off, do the
  Social Links that are outside of school.

Battles in Persona 3: FES are very important and can be quite the challenge if
you don't know what you're doing. With the exception of special bosses, all
other battling is going to be done inside the two dungeons. There are no
differences between The Journey and The Answer in terms of battling, so this
section can and will apply to both modes.

.----------------------.
(  ENCOUNTERING ENEMIES  )
'----------------------'
All of the Shadows in the game appear on your screen as black blobs that crawl
around on the floor of varying sizes. There are three types: regular Shadows
that are black and contain random enemies, red Shadows that are stronger than
normal and have fixed enemies, and golden Shadows that are rare and are
different. The size of the regular Shadow does not dictate its strength, but
rather it tells you how many enemies you will fight. A small Shadow that has
only one enemy may be tougher than a large Shadow that contains five.

As you run around the dungeons, you initiate battles by either hitting the
Shadows or the Shadow hitting you. Depending on whom hits whom first, you (the
player) or the enemy may get an advantage over the other. If the Shadow spots
you while running around, an exclamation point appears over its head and it will
chase you. On Normal and Easy, if you hit them while they're chasing you, then
neither side gets an advantage; on Hard, the enemy will most likely always get
an advantage. If the Shadow runs into you when it spots you, it will get the
advantage. If you manage to hit the Shadow without it spotting you, then you
will get the advantage.

.-------------------.
(  BASICS OF A FIGHT  )
'-------------------'
Once you get into a fight, you have a myriad of options available to you via
your Battle Commands. They are Attack, Skill, Item, Tactics, Persona, Escape and
Wait.

.=========.============================================================.
| COMMAND |                         EXPLANATION                        |

|---------|------------------------------------------------------------|
| Wait | Skips your turn; Shortcut is Square button |
'========='============================================================'

.-------------------.
(  ANALYZING SHADOWS  )
'-------------------'
This is one of the first things you should always do when encountering new
Shadows. Doing so will allow you to examine the weaknesses and strengths of the
enemies you come across. You can access the Analyze command via the Tactics
option in battle by selecting the bottom option; you can also access it by using
the L1 shortcut. It is very important to analyze enemies, since the party
members' A.I. will adjust and not use any skills that might help the enemy.

.------------.
(  AFFINITIES  )
'------------'
There are various affinities that each Shadow and Persona has in the game.
Unlike some games which use an opposing elemental system (like fire and water
are opposites of each other and one is weak against the other), this game uses
a straight weakness/strength system in regards to the elements. There are a
total of 9 different resistances (10 if you include Almighty, but only one
enemy is strong against that in the entire game) that a Shadow or Persona can
have. Physical attacks are split into Slash, Strike and Pierce types, then you
have the four basic elements of Fire, Ice, Electricity and Wind. Lastly, there
are instant-kill spells of the Light and Dark variety. Each Shadow and Persona
can have one of six affinities to the above resistances: weak, neutral (take
full damage), strong (can be anywhere from 90% to 10%), nullify, repel and
absorb.

.-----------------.
(  "1 MORE" SYSTEM  )
'-----------------'
Combat in the game is a turn-based affair, with a special system in place dubbed
the "1 More" system. This whole idea stems from the affinities above and
revolves only around single-target skills. Whenever you, a party member or a
Shadow hits the weak spot with a single-target skill or with a critical physical
attack, that person or Shadow will gain an extra attack. This does not apply
to any multi-target skills (like Maragi), as exploiting any weaknesses or
getting criticals with those will not give a "1 More." It is definitely possible
to end a fight (especially using the next method) just as soon as it begins by
exploiting weaknesses and abusing the "1 More" system. When you do hit a
weakness or score a critical hit, the target will be knocked down and any attack
on that knocked down target will make it stand up again.

.----------------.
(  ALL-OUT ATTACK  )
'----------------'
As you're exploiting weaknesses, you'll undoubtedly run across a situation where
you will have the option of using an All-Out Attack. Your opportunities to use
this are when there is at least one enemy left that either is knocked down by a
critical, hit by its weakness or misses with its own physical attack and
stumbles to the ground. If you encounter 3 enemies and hit all three with an
attack that targets its weakness to knock them all down, then you will get a
chance to trigger an All-Out Attack. Using the same example, if you knock two
enemies down and then kill the third with a normal, non-critical attack, then
you will not get an opportunity to trigger an All-Out Attack.

Note that any enemy or party member that is knocked down will have to waste a
turn in order to get back up again. This is especially useful when you know an
All-Out Attack will not finish off that enemy, so you can refuse to do the
attack. You can set your party to Stand By, knock all of the enemies down and
then decline the All-Out Attack; this will make all of the enemies waste their
turns getting up instead of getting attacks on you. This is definitely one
tactic that will come in handy if you're playing Hard difficulty.

.---------.
(  TACTICS  )
'---------'
Your party members are controlled by A.I. in this game, meaning you don't have
direct control over what they do in a battle. However, with the Tactics menu,
you do have access to a general frame of mind for your party members. You start
off with four tactics: Act Freely, Heal/Support, Assign Target and Stand By. The
rest of the tactics are learned throughout the storyline.

.===============.==============================================================.
|    TACTIC     |                          EXPLANATION                         |

you see are the number of points the main character will receive. The experience
that your party members and your equipped Persona (or Persona with Growth) might
differ. If their levels are lower than yours, then they will receive more
experience. If their levels are higher than yours, then they will receive less.

.--------------.
(  SHUFFLE TIME  )
'--------------'
After a successful battle, you may notice that you'll encounter a little
mini-game that is similar to 3-Card Monte. This is Shuffle Time, which allows
you to access to a few options to increase your rewards of battle. You may be
able to obtain a new Persona if you pick the card with the Persona on it. There
are also other options that you'll run into. The coin card will grant you some
extra yen, the wand card will give you extra experience, the sword card will
grant you an additional piece of equipment (only weapons in Journey, but all
equipment types in Answer), and the cup card will heal either the main character
or the whole party. Sometimes, you'll run into a card with a skull on it;
picking this card will reduce the amount of time it takes for The Reaper to
appear on that floor.

As for the shuffling of the cards themselves, you can have anywhere from two to
five cards. The basic shuffling is just them switching places of varying speeds,
which is pretty easy to follow and shouldn't give anyone trouble. Once you clear
a few blocks, you'll start to encounter the Pick-Up method of shuffling.
Basically, the order in which the cards go off the screen is the order in which
they will be placed starting from the left (the third card going up is the
third card that will be placed from the left). The last method of shuffling is
the Fold method. The cards will fold up under one card and then spread out
again; the position in relation to the card it folded under is what you need to
watch out for, as they don't change positions from before they folded.

============|          IV. THE JOURNEY WALKTHROUGH (A100)           |===========
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ|                                                       |ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
            O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O

If you've played the original Persona 3 game, then chances are you've played
through The Journey, as it is simply the original P3 game with some more
additions. Note that this walkthrough will not be a detailed account of every
single day in the game, since there are quite a high number of days where there
are no forced events and you're free to do what you want. Due to this, most of
the walkthrough will simply consist of mandatory events.

The walkthrough will be split up into the various months, starting with April.
Since school is a major emphasis of the game, you will be spending a lot of
time there. This means that you will be witnessing a lot of lectures, which are
split into two different types: ones where you are given the option to either
stay awake (increase in Academics; marked as LECTURE in the walkthrough) or doze
off (75% to improve your condition), and ones where you have to answer a
question (increase in Charm if you answer correctly; only the correct answer
will be listed).

Whenever you start a new game, you'll be asked if you want to know what was
added to the game that wasn't in the original. After this, you'll be asked to
choose a difficulty setting. EASY is well, easy. You do more damage than normal
and should you die, you'll have 10 chances to keep going; you have 10 Plume of
Dusks that will automatically revive all characters and refill their HP/SP to
max should you die. NORMAL is the basic setting, where everything is on an even
level, with no advantages to either you or the enemies. HARD is for the people
who have a good understanding of the game's concepts, plus there are some
surprises thrown in to make it live up to its name. You take more damage, have
a lower chance to escape during battle, Enemy Advantage chance is higher and
the cost to summon a Persona from the Compendium is four times the base cost
(Orpheus would cost 9,200 yen to bring out instead of 2,300).

--NOTE-- The walkthrough is written using NORMAL difficulty. Note every single
         event will be listed, but any and all MAJOR events will be present. Any
         other events listed will be at my own discretion.

                                   /=======\
                                  (  APRIL  ) (A101)
                                   \=======/

The game starts in the month of April, which pretty much introduces you to the
many elements of the game. You're able to start exploring the main dungeon of
the game, you will gain access to up to 7 Social Links, and you will also gain
access to Elizabeth's requests, among other things.

APRIL 7 -- After the initial cutscenes, you'll be able to enter a name for your
======= character. Note that it goes last name, then first name. After that,
           you're introduced to two characters living in the dorm and you'll be
           shown to your room. Once morning arrives, you'll be escorted to your
           high school by Yukari. After talking to her a little bit in the
           lobby, you will be free to move your character around.

           You can check the bulletin board to see which class you're in, but
           your goal right now is to get to the Faculty Office. Head through the
           opening opposite the bulletin board to appear in a hallway, then
           enter the Faculty Office. After meeting your homeroom teacher, you'll
           have to sit through the opening ceremony. After school is over,
           you'll meet Junpei Iori, and after some friendly banter with Yukari
           and him, you walk home with Junpei.

           Back at the dorm, you can save your game at the sign-in sheet on the
           counter (remember to save often). You can have a look around the
           dorm if you want, but there's not a lot to see. After your little
           sightseeing tour of the dorm, head over to your room on the 2nd
           floor by either going there on foot or choosing the option when
           accessing the sign-in sheet. After a short cutscene, you will move
           onto the next day...

APRIL 8 -- Today is your first actual lecture where your teacher will ask a
======= question and expect the right answer. If you get it right, then your
           Charm attribute will increase. The correct answer for today is
           "UTSUBO KUBOTA." In the evening, you'll meet up with the Chairman
           of the Board of the high school, Shuji Ikutsuki. Whenever you're
           done, choose "No, I'm good." to move on.

           You'll see another cutscene, and then an anime cutscene where it
           shows the Dark Hour. After the cutscenes, you'll be transported with
           room known as the Velvet Room. You receive the key item, Velvet Key,
           during the conversation with Igor.

APRIL 9 -- This is your first lecture in which you have the option of either
======= staying awake or dozing off for a little bit. If you stay awake,
           then your Academics will increase; if you choose to doze off, then
           there's a chance your condition will improve. The game will
           automatically advance to the Dark Hour.

           Yukari will give you a short sword before leaving your room. When you
           gain control of your character, run up the stairs until you
           encounter another cutscene. After this one, you'll be thrown into a
           battle with two Cowardly Mayas. Use Orpheus' Bash skill to finish
           them in one hit each to finish the battle. You will visit the Velvet
           Room again and Igor will mention about the connection of your Social
           Links and the power of your Personas.

APRIL 17 -- You wake up in the hospital, with Yukari at your side. After some
======== conversation with her, you go back asleep and the next day arrives.

APRIL 18 -- Another quiz today, with the correct answer being "MUD HUTS."
========
            After school, you automatically go back to the dorm. Feel free to
            save before you head up to the 4th floor of the dorm. You meet up
            with Yukari on the fourth floor and enter the Control Room, where
            you join up with the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad
            (SEES). Your first Social Link is established tonight, the Fool
            Arcana (revolves around SEES). You'll get a visit from the same boy
            from the beginning of the game during the Dark Hour.

APRIL 19 -- You are introduced to a new member who will be joining SEES, this
======== time it is your classmate, Junpei. Akihiko mentions that it seems
            like a good time to start exploring Tartarus tomorrow night.

APRIL 20 -- You will visit the game's main dungeon tonight. In the lobby, you
======== can use the clock to save your game and the blue door leads to the
            Velvet Room; the green portal thing on the right is the Terminal
            Point, but it isn't functioning now. You automatically head to the
            Velvet Room at first and have a little talk with Igor, who mentions
            that his real purpose will be revealed shortly. Once you're done,
            head up the stairs and you'll be transported to the first floor.

            Listen to Mitsuru's tutorials on battles and play around a little
            bit with all of the functions to get a feel. You can only explore
            the first floor for tonight and your objective is to get rid of all
            the Shadows (you'll only fight Cowardly Mayas, who are weak against
            fire). Make sure you pick up the contents of the briefcases as you
            explore the floor. You may get an extra function after a battle
            called Shuffle Time, with a possibility of obtaining Personas,
            weapons, more experience, money or a chance to heal your party.
            You'll fight about four battles before you are told to split up your
            party (press Square and then first option).

            If a party member finds the Access Point, head back to the lobby and
            you'll be done with the exploration aspect for now. Your Social Link
            for the Fool Arcana levels up to 2. When you get back to the lobby,
            you have the option to revisit the Velvet Room. Igor will reveal to
            you his true purpose; he is there to make new Personas for you by
            fusing together the cards you can find inside of Tartarus via
            Shuffle Time. I would hold off on fusing any yet until May 10, but
            feel free to fuse if you got any new Personas from a Shuffle.
            Whenever you're done, exit the Velvet Room and then Tartarus by
            choosing the option of going back to your dorm.

APRIL 21 -- LECTURE today, so choose to stay away to increase Academics or doze
======== off for a chance to increase your condition.

            After school is over, you're shown a little note that mentions that
            you'll be able to spend your afternoons in any way you want. There
            isn't anything you can really do now, so go downstairs and exit the
            school to view a small cutscene. Exit the school's grounds to be
            taken to the town map, then select Paulownia Mall (for details about
            the other options, check the Game Basics section).

            Once you're at Paulownia Mall, head straight to the police station
            and head inside. Akihiko will introduce you to Officer Kurosawa, who
            will be your main shop for weapons and armors. Akihiko will give you
            5,000 yen, so feel free to buy any equipment if you want. The police
            station is only open to sell equipment during the day and he gives
            a discount on Mondays, so if you do any shopping, do it on Mondays.

            Once you leave the station, Junpei leaves and you're free to do
            anything you want. Since you don't have any Social Links to work on
            yet, feel free to work on one of your attributes. You can also visit
            the other shops (pharmacy and accessories shop). Once you're done
            and the time has progressed to the evening, you'll be back at the
            dorm.

            Once you're back at the dorm, Mitsuru will mention a few things
            about being able to explore Tartarus anytime you want. You can only
            explore Tartarus, for now, if Mitsuru is at the dorm and sometimes
            not all of your party members will be able to go (they have other
            plans). You're also able to freely go out at night, but for now the
            only things you can do are work on your attributes mostly. If you
            don't do anything during the night and go back to your room, you'll
            have the option to either study (increases Academics) or sleep
            earlier (improves condition). Do whatever you want.

            Note that if a day isn't listed from now on, it means there isn't an
            important event that happens and it's a free day for you, so you can
            work on Social Links, among other things.

APRIL 22 -- In the morning and after school, one of your classmates will talk to
======== you (Kenji Tomochika). He invites you out for some ramen and you
            accept; the Magician Social Link will automatically be established
            and you'll see a little tutorial of sorts that talks about Social
            Links and fusing Personas.

APRIL 23 -- Today, the sports clubs will be accepting new members. To join one,
======== simply exit your classroom and head down the stairs near the other
            stairs that leads to the rooftop. Head through the double doors that
            you appear next to, head through the courtyard and through the doors
            to a small hallway with doors that lead to three sports clubs. It
            doesn't matter which one you pick, since all three will establish
            the Chariot Social Link; there are no distinctions between the three
            clubs, besides some minor text in the conversations to reflect that
            sport.

APRIL 25 -- In the morning, you overhear two students talking about a bookstore
======== at the strip mall at Iwatodai. This is your first chance to
            establish the Hierophant Social Link; for more details on how to
            establish it, check the Social Link section (D100). If you want to
            go to Tartarus tonight, Mitsuru is on the fourth floor of the dorm,
            through the double doors.

APRIL 27 -- Today's correct answer is "6,000 YEARS AGO."
========
            Mitsuru will talk to you after school and mention that she wants you
            to join the Student Council. Go to the Faculty Officer and tell Ms.
            Toriumi that you're interested, then enter the Student Council room
            on the same floor where your classroom is located. If you decide to
            go today, you'll establish the Emperor Social Link.

APRIL 29 -- You do not have school today. The night before, Junpei gives you a
======== game called Innocent Sin Online. You can play this game by accessing
            from your desk in your room. Note that playing this game will
            establish the Hermit Social Link. You can only play the game on
            Sundays and holidays when you have access to your room during the
            day.

APRIL 30 -- LECTURE
========
            At night, you'll get a call from Elizabeth where she asks you to go
            to the Velvet Room. She says you can use the alternate entrance at
            Paulownia Mall, which is located in the little back alley place
            between the police station and the stairs leading up to Mandragora.
            When you go there, you'll find that Elizabeth now allows you to take
            on requests. For more details about these requests, check out the
            Elizabeth's Requests section (K100).

            Note that if you haven't gone to Tartarus since 4/20, you are forced
            to go tonight, whether you like it or not. However, you are not
            required to actually do anything, so you could just turn around and
            leave if you want. This is the only time something like this will
            happen.

                                    /=====\
                                   (  MAY  ) (A102)
                                    \=====/

MAY 1 -- Today, you visit Akihiko in the hospital, which takes up your whole
===== afternoon so you can't work on your Social Links or anything.

MAY 2 -- During the Dark Hour, that same Mysterious Boy shows up again and tells
===== you that there's one more week until the full moon arrives and that
         you will face your greatest challenges on those days.

         If you have accepted the Pine Resin request from Elizabeth, you can get
         it tonight from Yukari in the dorm; just talk to her and she'll hand it
         over.

MAY 3 -- Today is the first day that you can access the home shopping network
===== from your TV in your bedroom. It airs every Sunday and you will get
         an opportunity to buy items from it. Note that if you make plans to
         meet someone on a Sunday, then you'll miss the opportunity to buy
         something from the TV. Today's items are a Slash Ward and a Sappy Jelly
         for 2,980 yen.

         Note that you don't have school on May 4th and May 5th. If you want to
         establish another Social Link on the 6th, then make sure you buy a Mad
         Bull from one of the vending machines in your dorm.

MAY 6 -- You'll overhear two students in the morning talking about how one of
===== them saw an elementary kid at Naganaki Shrine. After school, you can
         visit the shrine to find the kid standing there. When you talk to her,
         she will mention that she's hungry; you'll need to give her a takoyaki
         from the Octopia stand at Iwatodai. The next time you talk to her, she
         will mention that she's thirsty; give her a Mad Bull, which can be
         bought from a vending machine in your dorm. You can establish the
         Hanged Man Social Link the day after giving her those two items.

         Today's correct answer is "SOFT WATER."

MAY 7 -- Tonight is the deadline for any requests with deadlines you have left
===== for Elizabeth. Make sure you finish them, or else you won't be able to
         do them again until a New Game+.

MAY 9 -- You go back to the dorm because of it being a full moon and the game
===== automatically moves to the Dark Hour. Mitsuru and Akihiko talk a little
         bit before she finds a Shadow, a big one. You, Yukari and Junpei go on
         ahead and wait for Mitsuru to arrive in front of the station. Once she
         arrives, she'll mention that the Shadow is located in a monorail not
         too far from the station. Once you gain control of your character,
         simply move to the right until you catch up to the monorail.

         Once you're near the monorail, you'll board it after some small chat.
         You'll be trapped inside the monorail and once you gain control, simply
         move forward until you encounter a cutscene. Junpei will run after the
         one Shadow and you'll be jumped by two from behind. Simply use Agi on
         the books to finish them off, then you'll get into a fight with two
         more Spurious Books and a Heat Balance (weak to Garu and Zio).

         Once that battle is over, keep moving forward until you catch up to
         Junpei. You'll be thrown into a battle with three more enemies, so
         take care of them (Dancing Hand is weak to fire). After the battle,
         the train will start moving on its own and you'll get into yet another
         battle, but this time you'll see that a countdown has started (8
         minutes). You have 8 minutes to get to the front car and quickly defeat
         the main Shadow, so quickly dispatch the three enemies and move
         forward. The rest of the enemies are now random and can be avoided,
         although it might be tough considering the size of the monorail. Once
         you get to the front, you'll get into a battle with...

         .=====================.
BOSS -- PRIESTESS
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS -- Physical (Pierce), Bufu, Mabufu, Assault Dive
          Pulinpa, Marin Karin, Summon (Muttering Tiara)
SPOILS -- Diamond
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This is your very first storyline boss fight and it's not a real
difficult one. Make sure you don't have a Persona equipped that's
weak to ice, as the boss uses both Bufu and Mabufu. You'll also
want a Persona that has access to Bufu, as the boss can summon
Muttering Tiaras to help, which are weak against ice. The boss does
not have a lot of HP, but has enough where the battle is prolonged.
If it uses Marin Karin or Pulinpa, make sure you cure it as soon as
possible. This battle is only difficult, really, because of the
time limit. It might help if you have both Orpheus and Apsara,
since you can use Cadenza to heal.
         '====================================================================='

         After the battle is over, your Fool Social Link will increase to level
         3 and you will learn a new Tactic for your teammates, Conserve SP. You
         will view some more cutscenes, then the next day will arrive. Note that
         you will always be tired the day after a full moon, no matter what.

MAY 10 -- During the day, you'll receive a phone call from Elizabeth, who tells
====== you about a change in Tartarus. Basically, you'll receive a call from
          her a day or so after a full moon event, where she tells you that the
          barrier you run into previously will be unlocked. That means you can
          progress further into Tartarus and it usually means that Elizabeth
          will have new requests for you, so always make sure to check those out
          after a full moon.

          Anyways, since today is a Sunday, you can access the TV to buy an item
          from the Tanaka show. Today's items are a Giga Power Band and a Diet
          Food for 2,980 yen.

          Although Elizabeth didn't mention it, there's another thing that needs
          to be mentioned about today. Visit the Velvet Room and Liz will talk
          about the Persona Compendium. This is a special book of sorts that
          will register the Persona you have in it. Any new Persona you obtain
          will automatically be registered in the Compendium at its base level,
          and with its base skills. You have the option to register your current
          Persona(s) in the Compendium, which will update that Persona to its
          current status. There is a fee (based on the Persona's stats) to
          withdraw a Persona from the Compendium.

MAY 11 -- LECTURE
======
          Due to exams coming up next week, you will not have access to your
          Social Links that involve classmates. This will last this entire week
          and the week of the exams, so you won't gain access to them again
          until the 23rd. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the Social
          Links you have outside of school.

          Upon returning to the dorm in the evening, Mitsuru will mention that
          the equipment in the command room is malfunctioning and that she wants
          you to go and take a look. If you go to the fourth floor and into the
          command room, you can view a special video by accessing the main
          terminal. This will happen periodically throughout the game (sometimes
          with no warning from anyone). These are simply humorous videos about
          the characters; Ikutsuki and his horrible jokes should be blasted to
          the moon...

MAY 12 -- If you decide to go to Tartarus tonight, you won't have access to
======    Yukari.

MAY 13 -- Today's correct answer is "ABOUT 1,700 KM/HOUR."

======

MAY 20 -- Exam's correct answer is "FASTER THAN SOUND."
======

MAY 21 -- Exam's correct answer is "HARD WATER."

          to your normal schedule and be able to do what you want.

          During the night, you'll see a cutscene and you'll now have Akihiko
          available for battle. Akihiko mentions that they have found another
          Persona user and mentions her name, Fuuka Yamagishi. Also, the police
          station will get new items in stock (gloves) since Akihiko is now a

          a special gift from Mitsuru; you can find her outside of the Faculty
          Office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Your gift for acing the
          first exam is a Page Card Set (Incense Cards that can boost a
          Persona's stats).

                                   /======\
                                  (  JUNE  ) (A103)
                                   \======/

JUNE 1 -- You'll see a cutscene at night, where Junpei acts as...well, Junpei!
====== You're supposed to ask around the school concerning this "ghost
          story," but you don't really have to do anything. You'll also get a
          visit during the Dark Hour, from the same little boy telling you about
          the full moon approaching.

JUNE 2 -- LECTURE
======

JUNE 5 -- Once the evening rolls around, you'll be with Yukari and Junpei in the
====== dorm talking about the ghost story. Yukari wants to do some field
          research, in the back alley of Port Island Station. You plan to go
          tomorrow night.

JUNE 6 -- Today, you had planned to go to the back alley of Port Island Station
====== with Yukari and Junpei. You're confronted by some punks and Junpei
          getsa punch to the gut. Luckily, before things get any worse, a
          familiar face comes to put a stop to it. You learn some new things
          about the girls who were found and also about Fuuka.

          Note that today is the deadline for finishing up any requests from
          Elizabeth that do have a deadline.

JUNE 7 -- Today's items for sale are Perfume and 5 Medicine for 3,980 yen.
======

JUNE 8 -- You, Yukari, Junpei and Mitsuru question the teacher of 2-E in regard
====== to Fuuka Yamagishi. You learn that the Shadows seem to target humans
          by calling out to them, which is why some people remain conscious
          during the Dark Hour. You learn that Fuuka got stuck in Tartarus
          because of her being locked in the school during the night. Anyways,
          you'll still have access to your afternoon, but the night will be
          taken up by the operation to rescue Fuuka.

          Once night rolls around, the operation will begin. Silly Mitsuru
          thinks Junpei is going to blow their way into the school. After some
          deliberation, all of you split up in order to find a way into the gym.
          It's just you and Yukari and you start out in your classroom. Head
          towards the Faculty Office (feel free to make some pitstops along the
          way for some humorous dialog) and head inside. You'll find the key
          (hehe, tell Yukari it's for the morgue), so head back out to the main
          lobby.

          It's decided that it will be you, Junpei and Akihiko that will explore
          Tartarus. After a short cutscene, you'll be actually inside Tartarus
          and you'll be separated from Junpei and Akihiko (you'll also see the
          same mysterious boy for a bit). You basically just need to climb the
          floors until you meet up with Junpei and Aki. You will encounter some
          Shadows, but you will never fight more than one at a time (Haughty
          Mayas, Soul Dancers and Corrupt Towers are all I fought). There will
          also be chests, but they will all contain a Medicine. You'll have to
          go through two floors alone before finally meeting up with Junpei and
          Akihiko on the third one, along with Fuuka.

          You'll view some cutscenes, one of which will be a startling
          revelation about the full moon and certain Shadows. You'll also find
          out about big Shadows and that they are attacking someone. You'll
          appear in the lobby of Tartarus, where you'll see two big Shadows and
          Yukari on the ground, with Mitsuru in the hands of the one. After some
          more cutscenes, Fuuka will summon her Persona and then you'll get to
          battle the two Shadows...

         .=============================.
BOSS -- EMPRESS & EMPEROR
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS (EMPR) -- Physical (Slash), Swift Strike, Fatal End,
                 Paradigm Shift

SKILLS (EMPS) -- Physical (Strike), Bewilder, Evil Touch,
                 Marin Karin, Magaru, Magarula, Paradigm Shift
---------------------------------------------------------------------

You're up against two big Shadows, but this battle shouldn't be all
too difficult considering both of them have weaknesses. At the
start of the battle, Emperor will be weak to any of the basic four
elements, while Empress will be weak to any of the three physical
types. After a while though, they will each use Paradigm Shift to
change their weakness around, so make sure to have Fuuka reanalyze
them whenever they decide to change their weaknesses. You'll only
have Junpei and Akihiko in battle with you, so make sure to keep
everyone fully healed and the battle should be over in no time.

A good strategy to use, if you're having trouble, is to knock both
of the Shadows down and then instruct your teammates to stand by,
which will make both of the Shadows waste their turn getting up.
You will probably not want a Persona that's weak to wind, although
Empress didn't exactly use Magaru and Magarula a lot. Emperor's
weakness change ALWAYS left him to nullify everything except for
strike attacks, while Empress switched between her original set of
weaknesses and the same weakness as Emperor's change.
         '====================================================================='

         After the battle is over, you'll learn a new tactic for your teammates,
         Knock Down.

JUNE 9 -- In the evening hours, Yukari will tell you that the antiques store is
====== now open at Paulownia Mall. It is located to the left of the pharmacy
          and is a bit unique than the other shops. It will provide goods that
          you cannot normally get in exchange for gems found from within
          Tartarus. It will also provide a service that will allow you to fuse
          Personas to blank (Nihil) weapons in order to create unique weapons
          that cannot be gotten anywhere else. These Nihil weapons can be gotten
          from defeating the golden Shadows inside Tartarus (the owner will give
          you a free weapon). Note that any weapons made this way will either
          take a day or two before you can actually use them and the owner will
          only be able to fuse one weapon at a time.

JUNE 10 -- LECTURE
=======
           Note that Elizabeth will have new requests available, but you won't
           be able to do the ones involving the new section of Tartarus quite
           yet. You might want to grab Request #13, since you need to be in
           school in order to complete it.

JUNE 11 -- You'll receive a text message from Akihiko after school telling you
======= that Fuuka will be released from the hospital and that you should
           come to the command room after school. Basically, tonight you will
           get a new member for your team, Fuuka Yamagishi, who will now become
           your new support for Analysis. She'll replace Mitsuru and now Mitsuru
           will join you for battles. Note that you still won't be able to go
           to Tartarus just yet.

JUNE 12 -- The mysterious boy will visit you once again and ask to be your
======= friend. He will call himself Pharos and the Death Social Link will be
           established tonight. Note that this Social Link levels up
           automatically throughout the story and tends to skip some levels.

JUNE 13 -- You get a call tonight from Elizabeth informing you of the previous
======= barrier being open now. This will be your first chance to go to
           Tartarus since the last full moon. From now on, you will have to talk
           to Fuuka if you want to go to Tartarus.

JUNE 14 -- Today's items for sale are a Brand Purse and a Perfume for 5,980 yen.
=======

JUNE 15 -- Today's correct answer is "AND..."
=======

JUNE 16 -- If you have accepted Request #95, then you can get the protein needed
======= by talking to Akihiko in the dorm at night.

JUNE 17 -- Today's correct answer is "SHAMANISM."
=======
           Today, you will have the option to join one of the Culture Clubs. You
           have the Photography Club (Science Room), Art Club and the Music
           Club. Like with the sports clubs, it doesn't matter which one you
           pick, since they all revolve around the same person and only have
           some minor dialog differences.

JUNE 20 -- Mitsuru will stop by and tell you that the Chairman will be coming
======= to the dorm later, so she wants you to come to the command room.
           After school is over, you'll automatically head back to the dorm and
           see both Yukari and Fuuka playing with a dog. The dog's name is
           Koromaru and it once belonged to a priest who got hit by a car and
           died. After that, you'll be in the command room and Ikutsuki will
           talk about the special Shadows you have fought so far and how there
           are 8 more left.

           If you have accepted Request #96, then you can get the item you need
           by talking to Ikutsuki in the dorm after the meeting.

JUNE 21 -- Today's items for sale are a Land Badge and 10 Sappy Jelly for
=======    24,800 yen.

JUNE 22 -- Today's correct answer is "JELLYFISH."
=======
           Junpei mentions that the equipment in the command room seems to be
           on the fritz again. This means that there's a new recording that can
           be watched, although you may have already watched it since it was
           recorded about a week ago. There will be a cutscene during the Dark
           Hour that will introduce a couple of shady characters for the first
           time.

JUNE 25 -- Today's correct answer is "DOWSING."
=======

JUNE 27 -- If you have accepted Request #97, then you can get the "Christmas
======= star" by talking to Fuuka at the dorm in the evening.

JUNE 28 -- Today's items for sale are a pair of Champion Gloves and 3 Sappy
=======    Jelly for 8,980 yen.

JUNE 29 -- Today's correct answer is "IT CAN GO EITHER WAY."
=======

                                   /======\
                                  (  JULY  ) (A104)
                                   \======/

JULY 3 -- Today's correct answer is "THE GLOBAL HERITAGE PAVILION."
======

JULY 5 -- Today's items for sale are a Kevlar Vest and 4 Super Diet Food for
======    14,800 yen.

          Today is also the deadline for any requests from Elizabeth, so make
          sure you get them done before today's over.

JULY 6 -- I highly recommend that you visit the Pharmacy and buy some Dis-Charms
====== today. You could also fuse a Narcissus and try to get his Null Charm
          heart item for yourself. You don't need it, but it certainly helps a
          lot. Also, since you won't have access to the daytime hours tomorrow,
          you should head to the police station and other stores if you need to
          stock up on anything.

JULY 7 -- Today is the big day, as you will have to fight another special
====== Shadow. You won't have any access to Social Links today, since you
          head back to the dorm straight after school and the game will
          automatically advance to the Dark Hour. Fuuka senses a strong presence
          on Shirakawa Boulevard and it explains the reason why they have been
          finding The Lost in pairs lately. Yukari will be a part of your party
          for this operation, so choose your other two members and then tell
          Fuuka you're ready to go.

          Once you have control of your character, you're told that there's a
          strong presence on the third floor. Head there immediately and find
          the door in the lower-right corner of the map, which is aptly named
          "Hierophant's Chamber." It's time for a boss fight...

         .======================.
BOSS -- HIEROPHANT
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS -- Physical (Strike), Mazio, Zionga, Mazionga, Swift Strike,
          Sukunda, Dekaja, Prophecy of Ruin
---------------------------------------------------------------------

To start, the boss is obviously null to both light and dark attacks
and it repels electricity, so don't use Zio. Hierophant has one
very annoying attack in Prophecy of Ruin, which has a high chance
inflicting Fear on your party. You'll want to cure this as soon as
possible with either a Me Patra Gem or the Me Patra spell. As for
other spells to watch out for, you'll need to keep an eye out for
its electricity attacks, which Yukari is weak against. Overall, the
boss is pretty easy, since it will try to spam Prophecy of Ruin a
lot, as well as electricity. As long as you keep everyone healed,
the battle should be cake.
         '====================================================================='

          After the battle is over, try to exit via the door and you'll find out
          that you won't be able to leave just yet. Fuuka will mention that she
          still feels the presence of a Shadow in the room, but nothing is there
          that you can see. Inspect the nearby mirror and everything will go
          fuzzy, leading you to view a short cutscene of the "shower scene."

          You'll be on the end and you'll eventually hear a voice that tells you
          to succumb to the moment. Although you may want to give in, the game
          won't let you, so pick the responses that will make you resist the
          temptation. Yukari will walk out of the bathroom and promptly slap you
          in the face, and then you'll finally get contact with Fuuka again.

          Once you get control of your character again, head upstairs to rejoin
          your other two party members. Fuuka mentions that the mirrors seem to
          be the key to unlock the seal on the door on the third floor, where
          you fought the previous Shadow and where the current Shadow is now.
          You'll need to enter the rooms and break the mirrors, but there's a
          catch. If you break a mirror that is normal, you'll restart from the
          room you and Yukari were in and all the mirrors will return to normal.
          To make matters a little worse, there will be Shadows roaming the
          halls, although they are Shadows you should have already encountered.

          You're searching for special mirrors in the rooms, ones that do not
          give a reflection of your character. The first mirror you need to
          break is on the second floor, in the room in the southeast corner.
          Once that's done, head to the third floor. The mirror on this floor is
          located in the northeastern corner of the map. Once you've broken both
          mirrors, head through the golden doors to fight the next Shadow...

         .==================.
BOSS -- LOVERS
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS -- Physical (Strike), Maragion, Holy Arrow, Marin Karin,
          Pulinpa, Life Drain, Spirit Drain, Heartbreaker
---------------------------------------------------------------------

You're free to pummel this boss with any kind of attack (except for
dark and light, of course), as it's strong against nothing but the
usual insta-death attacks. This boss is especially annoying, as it
likes to use Charm and Panic attacks, so hopefully you have some
Dis-Charms at least (or a Persona that has Null Charm like
Narcissus). Aside from its Charm attacks (Marin Karin and Holy
Arrow), it's a pretty easy boss for the most part, although
Maragion will need to be watched out for as well. At low HP (when
it's drooping down), it may use a move called Heartbreaker, which
deals quite a bit of damage. You will definitely not want to see
this skill being used, so make sure to quickly finish the boss off
before it gets a chance.
         '====================================================================='

          After the operation is over, your Fool Social Link will increase to
          level 4 and you will gain a new tactic for your party members, Full
          Assault. As you walk away from the scene, you'll see the same people
          you saw before.

JULY 8 -- As was the case last time there were upcoming exams, you will not have
====== access to your school Social Links until July 24. It's a great time to
          work on your Social Links outside of school.

          Today's correct answer is "I FAILED, IT'S OVER NOW." (the second)

          Although you can't access the new section of Tartarus until tomorrow
          night, there are new requests available from Elizabeth.

JULY 9 -- Today's correct answer is "THE KONDEN EINEN SHIZAIHOU."
======
          You'll get a call from Elizabeth tonight, where she informs you that
          the previous barrier in Tartarus is down and you can now progress
          further in the tower.

JULY 10 -- Today's correct answer is "KABBALAH."
=======

JULY 11 -- Today's correct answer is "IMPERIAL PRINCE."
=======
           After school and after you do whatever and progress to the evening
           hours, you'll automatically go back to the dorm and witness a lengthy
           cutscene. You'll find out some truth behind the accident 10 years
           ago, as well as the origins of the Dark Hour. Ikutsuki will tell you
           that upon defeating all 12 of the special Shadows, that Tartarus and
           the Dark Hour will disappear. You won't be able to go to Tartarus
           tonight, but you're free to do anything else.

JULY 12 -- You'll view a bunch of cutscenes with your SEES members.
=======
           Today's items for sale are Max Safety Shoes and 3 Super Diet Food for
           10,000 yen.

           During the Dark Hour, Pharos will visit you again and your Death
           Social Link will increase to level 3 tonight.

JULY 13 -- LECTURE
=======
           At night, you'll talk with your fellow SEES members about plans for
           the upcoming summer break. Ikutsuki chimes in and says that you'll
           be going to Yakushima for summer break. The vacation won't start
           until after your exams, July 20th to be exact.

JULY 14 -- Today is the start of your exams and today's correct answer is
=======    "DOWSING."

JULY 15 -- Exam's correct answer is "OCTOPUS."
=======

JULY 16 -- Exam's correct answer is "MINAMOTO NO YORITOMO."
=======

JULY 17 -- Exam's correct answer is "I WENT, I LEARNED" (first option).
=======

JULY 18 -- Today is the last day of the exams. How you do today will depend on
======= your Academics. You will need a rank of 4 in Academics (Smart) to be
           able to get the number one spot in the exams.

           After the exams and school, you'll view a cutscene of your SEES
           members, among other things. You'll also meet the newest candidate
           for your team, Ken Amada. Note that you won't have a lot of time to
           go to Tartarus, because of the upcoming trip to Yakushima and the
           week later on that will be lost to something else. It might be a good
           idea to go tonight for a bit.

           Although no one says anything, there is a new recording for you to
           watch in the command room (it was recorded on 7/15).

JULY 19 -- Today's items for sale are a Mage's Mark and 10 Super Diet Food for
=======    39,800 yen.

JULY 20 -- Your trip to Yakushima begins today and it will last for 4 days and
======= 3 nights. In that time, you'll have no access to any Social Links or
           even Tartarus, so sit back and enjoy. You'll see just how important
           Mitsuru is and you'll get to see her father, too.

           After the initial stuff, you'll be at the beach and Junpei will once
           again show why he is Junpei. After the little "contest" is over,
           you're free to move around. Talk to Akihiko to save or to go back,
           and you can also go back by taking the left path in the trees.

           At night, you'll have a little talk with Mitsuru's father, where
           he'll explain more about the incident that happened 10 years ago.
           He'll talk about his father's true objective, as well as revealing
           that Yukari's father was heading the research on the Shadows back
           then. Yukari will storm out, so go after her and after some bits of
           conversation, you'll move onto the next day.

JULY 21 -- After a cutscene where you're informed that an anti-Shadow machine is
======= now on the loose, you'll get to experience one of the best parts of
           the game, Operation Babe Hunt! Go to the right a bit and you'll get
           shot down by the first set of girls. Go to the left and you'll
           encounter the second "battle," which results in a failure! Go to the
           right for the third battle, which throws a curve ball your way.

           After some more bickering, you'll see a FMV of some girl in a
           sundress. No matter which option you choose, the order is always
           Junpei, then Akihiko and then you. After the girl runs away, chase
           her all the way to the top. Ikutsuki will show up and reveal that
           the Anti-Shadow weapon was really the mysterious girl, and her name
           is Aigis. Aigis will now be a part of your party.

JULY 22 -- Today, your Fool Social Link will increase to level 5. The game will
======= automatically advance to the evening of July 23 afterwards, although
           you won't gain access to Tartarus until the next day.

JULY 24 -- Today, you'll be back in school and you'll have only a few more days
======= left until summer break begins. Also, exam results will be posted
           today, so if you scored well, you'll get a boost in your Charm
           attribute. If you scored the highest in your class, then you'll be
           able to get a gift package from Mitsuru whenever she is standing
           outside of the Faculty Office. The gift this time is a Knight Card
           Set.

           Note that since Aigis is now a member of your party, the police
           station will stock on weapons and armors for her. The police station
           will have also special costumes for sale (300,000 each)

JULY 25 -- LECTURE
=======
           If you have maxed out your Charm attribute (Charismatic), then today
           is the first day that you can establish the Lovers Social Link by
           speaking to Yukari in your classroom.

           Also note that today is the last day of school until September 1. You
           will not have access to any of your school Social Links until then.
           The coach of the Sports Club team you joined will stop by after
           school and tell you he wants you to compete in an upcoming
           competition on August 2. You'll be stuck with training from July 27
           to August 1, in which you won't be able to do anything at all during
           the daytime, but you'll have access to the night hours.

JULY 26 -- Today's items for sale are a Brand Purse and 5 Medical Powder for
=======    7,980 yen.

JULY 27 -- Today is the first day of your Sports Club training and it will
======= last until August 1. All of your daytime is used up for training,
           but you can use the night hours in any way you want.

JULY 29 -- During the Dark Hour, you'll get a call from Fuuka saying that she
======= detects a Shadow. Akihiko says the Shadow was already defeated by the
           time he had gotten there and that you all should go to see what
           happened. It seems that Koromaru was the one who defeat the Shadow.

                                  /========\
                                 (  AUGUST  ) (A105)
                                  \========/

AUG 2 -- Today is the competition that you had been training for. Unfortunately,
===== you don't actually do anything and everything is played out for you.
         You'll meet Mamoru after the competition ends and he wants to hang out
         with you. He says he usually hangs out at the strip mall at Iwatodai
         during the day.

         Because of the competition, you cannot access the TV in your room
         today.

AUG 3 -- Today is your first opportunity to establish the Star Social Link.
===== Before you even think about it, you'll need a Tough rank for your
         Courage attribute. If you have that, you can find Mamoru sitting on a
         bench across from the Wild Duck Burger at Iwatodai.

AUG 4 -- Today is the deadline for Elizabeth's requests with deadlines, should
===== you have left to do.

AUG 6 -- Welcome to the next full moon battle! After pinpointing the location
===== of the Shadow, you find out that the Shadow is probably underground in
         previously used military facility. When you arrive there, both Takaya
         and Jin show up and lock you inside of the facility. After the cutscene
         is over, you get to choose your party members. I'd bring along Aigis
         and Yukari (she learns Diarama at 27, which will help), with the third
         party member up to you. Once you're done, head down the tunnel and keep
         heading down while fighting the Shadows (nothing to worry about).
         Eventually, you'll get to the area where the Shadow is located.

         .=============================.
BOSS -- CHARIOT & JUSTICE
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS (together) -- Kill Rush, Tentarafoo, Poison Mist

SKILLS (Char) -- Kill Rush, Swift Strike, Tentarafoo, Evil Smile,
                 Power Charge, Samarecarm, Unite

SKILLS (Just) -- Twin Shot, Torrent Shot, Myriad Arrows,
                 Vile Assault, Samarecarm, Unite
---------------------------------------------------------------------

At the start, Fuuka will mention that she senses two different
Arcana, which will play out a little later in the battle. For now,
concentrate your attacks on the tank and watch out for its few
attacks. It isn't strong against anything nor does it block, repel
or absorb anything (except the obvious light and dark), so you
don't have to worry about choosing your attacks. The tank can only
use three moves: Kill Rush, Tentarafoo and Poison Mist. When you
its HP to about half, the real battle will begin...

When the Shadow's HP reaches half, it will use Separate and split
into two different Shadows. Their resistances are the same as when
they're together, so you don't have to worry about choosing your
attacks. There's a problem, though, when they're separated. If you
defeat one and the other gets its turn before it's defeated, then
it will use Samarecarm to resurrect and fully heal the other, so
that means you will have to defeat them both before either one will
get the chance to revive the other.

Periodically, they will unite back together and if you reduce the
united version of the boss' HP to zero, it will forcefully separate
again with very little HP left for each separate entity. That is
ideal time to defeat them both. As for attacks when separated, both
mainly use physical attacks, with Chariot throwing in Tentarafoo
and Evil Smile here and there.
         '====================================================================='

         After the battle is over, you'll gain a new tactic for your party
         members, SAME TARGET.

AUG 7 -- There are new requests available from Elizabeth, so make sure to stop
===== by the Velvet Room at Paulownia Mall to check them out.

         Pharos will visit you at night and your Death Social Link will increase
         to level 5.

AUG 8 -- Elizabeth will call you during the day and tell you that the previous
===== barrier is now gone and you are able to progress further into Tartarus
         now.

         At night, you'll gain another ally in your fight against the Shadows,
         this time being Koromaru. Mitsuru will also mention that summer classes
         will start next week. This is a week of classes in which you'll have
         no control of anything during the whole week. Note that since Koromaru
         joined, the police station will now stock weapons and armors for him.

AUG 9 -- Today's items for sale are an Omega Spear and 5 Veggie Supplements for
=====    24,800 yen.

         Starting tonight, you will be able to take Koromaru for a walk. These
         walks will take up the evening time slot, but you'll be able to view
         some scenes that you couldn't before. If you walk with him alone, he'll
         pick up a completely random item. There are times when a member of your
         team will join you and there are even other times when you may meet up
         with one of your other Social Links, in which case you'll be granted
         +10 bonus points towards the next level (15 with a matching Persona) of
         that Link. For easier purposes, I will only list the times when one of
         your members join you or when you meet up with a Social Link.

AUG 10 -- Today is the start of a week-long venture of summer classes. As
====== mentioned above, you cannot do anything else during this week, as all
          of the days will play out by themselves. You will receive +3 points
          for Academics for each day, so it's not a total waste if you don't
          have that attribute maxed.

AUG 14 -- After the lengthy lecture by Mr. Edogawa, he'll mention that he will
====== be giving supplementary lessons at the Nurse's Office, once the next
          school term begins. These lessons do not take up any time, so feel
          free to visit him if you're interested.

AUG 15 -- Today is the last day of summer school and you'll have access to the
====== evening time slot now. Tonight, you can walk Koromaru and Aigis will
          join you if you want.

          Again, although no one warns you of any equipment malfunctioning,
          there is a new recording for you to watch in the command room (it was
          recorded on 8/13).

AUG 16 -- Today is the Summer Festival at Naganaki Shrine. You can receive calls
====== from your female classmates, asking to go with you to the festival.
          It doesn't matter who you choose, should you even choose one in the
          first place. It has no effect on your Social Links, but you need to
          have established the Social Link for the girl to call. If you have
          the four girls' Links established, then they will call you in the
          order of Yukari, Fuuka, Yuko and lastly, Chihiro.

          If you decide not to go, then you will have a normal day off. You can
          go to the Summer Festival alone by just heading to the Naganaki
          Shrine. In the evening, you can visit Naganaki Shrine and you'll meet
          up with Mitsuru and Aigis (with some funny dialog).

          Today's items for sale are an Emergency Vest and 5 Veggie Supplement
          for 24,800 yen.

AUG 17 -- Today is the start of the summer movie festival. One of your Social
====== Links will call you almost everyday and ask you to see a movie with
          them. This will do two things; it will help boost your points towards
          the next level and it will also provide a 4-point boost to one of your
          atrributes. Today, Kenji will call and your Courage will increase if
          you go to the movies with him.

AUG 18 -- Bebe will call and ask you to go to the movies. If you go, your
======    Academics will increase.

AUG 19 -- Keisuke will call and ask you to go to the movies. If you go, your
======    Charm will increase.

AUG 20 -- Today, you'll see a cutscene where you'll see Junpei meeting up with
====== that one female member of Strega. They never met before, so he doesn't
          know who she is. There is no movie today, so you're free to do what
          you want.

AUG 21 -- Yuko will call and ask you to go to the movies. If you go, your
======    Courage will increase.

AUG 22 -- Kazushi will call and ask you to go to the movies. If you go, your
======    Courage will increase.

          At night, you can walk Koromaru and if you do, Akihiko will decide to
          join you.

AUG 23 -- Chihiro will call and ask you to go to the movies. If you go, your
======    Charm will increase.

          If you don't go, it's a normal day off. Today's items for sale are
          Dragon Boots and 4 Veggie Supplement for 20,000 yen.

          At night, if you decide to walk Koromaru, you will meet up with
          Bunkichi.

AUG 24 -- The summer movie festival continues, only this time you can go with
====== fellow SEES members. Since Yukari and Fuuka are both Social Links,
          they will receive that boost in points. Yukari can go with you to the
          movies today; if you go, your Academics will increase.

AUG 25 -- You can ask Akihiko to go to the movies with you today; if you go,
======    your Courage will increase.

AUG 26 -- Talking to Aigis in the lounge, she will mention that Koromaru has
====== an intense desire to go somewhere and if he doesn't go today, then he
          won't go at all. So, bring him to the movies. Even though you get
          kicked out of the theater, your Courage will still increase.

AUG 27 -- You can ask Junpei to go with you to the movies today; if you go, your
====== Charm will increase. Now, if you did go with Junpei to the movies,
          you can walk Koromaru tonight and have Junpei join you. He won't go
          if you didn't go to the movies.

AUG 28 -- You can ask Aigis to go to the movies with you today; if you go, your
======    Academics will increase.

          At night, you'll have a meeting with all of your party. Ken Amada will
          join SEES tonight, making another party for you to use.

AUG 29 -- You can ask Fuuka to go to the movies with you today; if you go, your
====== Charm will increase. Now, if you went to the movies with Fuuka, you
          can have her join you on the walk with Koromaru at night. She will not
          go with you if you didn't go to the movies with her.

AUG 30 -- Today's items for sale are Varuna Bracers and 2 Veggie Supplement for
======    17,800 yen.

          You can ask Mitsuru to go to the movies today with you. If you go,
          your Academics will increase. If you went to the movies with Mitsuru
          today, then she will join you on a walk with Koromaru tonight. If you
          didn't see the movies with her, then she won't join you.

AUG 31 -- Today is the last day of your summer vacation. Ken will go to the
====== movies with you today if you ask him; if you go, your Courage will
          increase.

                                 /===========\
                                (  SEPTEMBER  ) (A106)
                                 \===========/

SEPT 1 -- Today's correct answer is "SUPERCONDUCTIVITY."
======
          At night, you'll witness a cutscene where you'll find out that Aigis
          will now be attending school.

SEPT 2 -- Today, you'll go with Akihiko after school to talk to Shinji. Shinjiro
====== Aragaki will join your team; he is the final party member to join.

SEPT 3 -- Today is the last day for you to do any requests that have deadlines,
====== so make sure you finish them up before the day is over.

SEPT 5 -- Today is the next full moon event. You won't have access to Junpei
====== during the whole event. Fuuka says the Shadow is near Paulownia Mall,
          but she's not sure of its exact location. Once at the mall, Fuuka and
          Shinjir finally pinpoints the Shadow's location to underneath Club
          Escapade. Note that the boss pretty much uses nothing but electrical
          attacks, so you might not want to use Yukari or Aigis. A party of
          Akihiko, Mitsuru and Shinji is ideal for this upcoming fight.

         .==================.
BOSS -- HERMIT
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS -- Physical (Pierce), Zionga, Mazionga, Mind Charge, Charge,
          Giga Spark
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This boss is purely electricital-based, so if you have a Persona
that nullifies electricity, then this should be pretty easy. Hermit
absorbs electricity and nulls light and dark, but it takes normal
damage from everything else. As you can see from its skills, it
uses nothing but electricity. The one thing you'll want to watch
out for is when it uses Charge. Three turns after it uses Charge,
it will use Giga Spark, which is a massive electricity attack, so
you'll want to make sure your party's HP is full before it releases
it. As long as you keep your party's HP high, this battle is a
breeze.
         '====================================================================='

          After the battle is complete and the cutscenes are over, you'll gain
          a new tactic for your teammates, ATTACK FALLEN.

SEPT 6 -- Today's items for sale are a Brand Watch and 5 Snuff Soul for
======    10,000 yen.

          There are new requests available from Elizabeth, so make sure to stop
          by the Velvet Room.

          If you walk Koromaru tonight, you'll meet up with Chihiro.

SEPT 10 -- Today's correct answer is "GOCHISOU-SAMA."
=======
           Elizabeth will call you tonight and tell you that the previous
           barrier has been removed, meaning you will be able to progress
           further in Tartarus. Tonight is the first night since the last full
           moon that you'll be able to go to Tartarus.

           There is a new recording for you to watch in the command room that
           was recorded on September 6.

SEPT 11 -- Today's correct answer is "THE HERMETICA."
=======

SEPT 12 -- LECTURE
=======
           Tonight, Pharos will visit you and your Death Social Link will
           increase to level 6.

SEPT 13 -- Today's items for sale are Prayer Beads and a Health Supplement for
=======    10,000 yen.

SEPT 14 -- Today's correct answer is "CAN'T LET OTHERS PRODUCE."
=======

SEPT 15 -- If you decide to take Koromaru for a walk tonight, Shinji can come
=======    with you.

SEPT 17 -- If you have accept Request #98, then you'll be able to get the fruit
=======    knife from Shinjiro tonight.

SEPT 18 -- You automatically head back to the dorm after school. The typhoon
======= hits and you won't be able to do anything for tonight, tomorrow and
           the next day (the game automatically advances to September 21).
           You can't go outside tonight, so you might as well just go and rest.

           Once the Dark Hour rolls around, you'll find yourself in the Velvet
           Room. Igor will provide a new kind of assistance to you, the ability
           to fuse four or more Personas. Since you can't access the Velvet Room
           until the 21st, that will be your first opportunity to play around
           with the new fusions.

SEPT 23 -- You can ask Shinji to go to the movies today. Before you can ask him
======= though, you will have to speak with Fuuka first. If you go, your
           Courage will increase.

           There is a new video that can be watched in the command room that was
           recorded on 9/20.

SEPT 24 -- LECTURE
=======
           You'll be cleaning up the displays and decorations leftover from the
           school festival. The people you will see will depend on your Social
           Links. Note that this event has absolutely no impact on any Social
           Links at all and it takes place instead of the afternoon classes,
           meaning you'll still have that After School time slot available.

SEPT 26 -- Today's correct answer is "THE TETRACTYS."
=======
           You can walk Koromaru tonight and Shinji will join you.

           There is a new recording that can be watched in the command room that

=======    35,800 yen.

           You can take Koromaru for a walk tonight, and Akihiko can join you.

SEPT 28 -- LECTURE
=======

SEPT 29 -- At night, Fuuka will mention something about the equipment in the
======= command room malfunctioning. There was a video recorded on 9/6 and
           9/20, so you might have already seen them.

                                  /=========\

         by talking to Aigis at night in the dorm.

OCT 2 -- If you have any requests with deadlines left, tonight is the last day
=====    for them.

OCT 3 -- LECTURE
=====

OCT 4 -- Fuuka says that she has located the position of the Shadow, in the
===== plaza at Iwatodai Station. After a remark from Yukari, Fuuka will
         mention that she senses two Shadows. Your party for this battle doesn't
         really matter, as the Shadows don't absorb, null or are strong against
         anything (except for light and dark, obviously). You won't have access
         to Ken or Shinji for this battle, though.

         .==============================.
BOSS -- FORTUNE & STRENGTH
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS (Str) -- Physical (Pierce), Heat Wave, Vile Assault,
                Tempest Slash, Gigantic Fist, Eerie Sound,
                Sexy Dance

SKILLS (Fort) -- Physical (Strike), Wheel of Fortune, Arrow Rain,
                 Torrent Shot, Garudyne, Magarudyne
---------------------------------------------------------------------

At the very start of the battle, Strength will cast something on
Fortune that will make that Shadow untargetable while Strength is
still alive. Of course, Fortune will still be able to attack
indirectly with its special move, Wheel of Fortune. When its turn
comes around, it will drop a giant roulette wheel onto the
battlefield. It will have a variety of effects on it and it can be
the best thing in the world, or it can be the worst thing in the
world, depending on your luck. Note that red is bad for you and
blue is good for you. However, you can effect its outcome by
knowing where you press X to make it starts stopping. You'll
want to press X on the opposite side of where you want it to stop.

As for Strength itself, you can pretty much guess which kind of
skills it will use just from the name of the Arcana. It uses a
variety of physical skills, most of which can only target one
party member at a time, so healing shouldn't be too difficult. The
bad part of this part of the battle is the roulette wheel; it can
make the battle go smoothly or it can make it tough as nails. The
Shadow has quite a bit of HP, so it will take a while to deplete it
all.

There are a variety of effects on the actual roulette wheel. There
are three different sets of wheels that are chosen at random by
Fortune. The first set will either cast Matarukaja, Marakukaja,
Matarunda or Marakunda (first wheel is always this one. The second
set has Panic, Enrage, Distress and Fear. The third, and final set,
will either heal for 50 HP, or damage for 50, 100 or 200 HP
depending on how many icons.

Once Strength is out of the picture, the spell it put on Fortune
will be removed and you can now attack it. It will continue using
Wheel of Fortune, but it will start making the red areas a lot
bigger, so it may be tougher to make it land on a blue spot. It
does have some moves of its own, of which you should watch out for
Magarudyne and Arrow Rain, since they both hit all of your party
members. However, it doesn't use them all too often and resorts to
Wheel of Fortune most of the time. The difficulty of the battle
will actually depend on your skill in using the roulette wheel, but
it gets easy after a few tries.
         '====================================================================='

         After the battle, you'll see a few cutscenes. After the cutscenes are
         over, you'll no longer have Shinji as a member of your party for the
         rest of the game.

OCT 5 -- Today will be the first of your party members' resolution scenes. These
===== basically give birth to new Personas for your allies, with improved
         resistances and the ability to learn more skills. Today, Akihiko's
         resolution scene takes place and Polydeuces will transform into
         Caesar.

         You can retrieve Shinjiro's equipment by going into his room on the
         second floor of the dorm and checking the box on the table.

         You have exams next week, so you won't be able to meet with any of your
         school Social Links until the 17th of the month. There are also new
         requests available from Elizabeth, so make sure to stop by the Velvet
         Room.

OCT 6 -- Elizabeth will call tonight and inform you that the previous barrier
===== has fallen, meaning you can progress further into Tartarus.

         Ken will have his resolution scene today, transforming Nemesis into
         Kala-Nemi. Also, Pharos will visit you during the Dark Hour and your
         Death Social Link will increase to level 8.

OCT 7 -- Today's correct answer is "TO EXCITE THE AUDIENCE."

                                (  NOVEMBER  ) (A108)
                                 \==========/

NOV 1 -- Today's items for sale are a Berserker's Seal and 2 Mega Protein for
=====    39,800 yen.

         If you decide to walk Koromaru tonight, you can have Yukari join you.

         If you have any requests with deadlines still, then today is the last
         day for you to finish them.

NOV 2 -- Tonight, the Fool Social Link will increase to level 6.
=====

NOV 3 -- It's time for the last operation! Fuuka has found the final Shadow at
===== the south end of the Moonlight Bridge and she senses two Persona-users
         nearby. For now, you'll need to choose some allies, so go ahead and
         pick Koromaru and two other party members of your choosing. I'd refrain
         from choosing Ken or Mitsuru, though. When you arrive, you'll confront
         both Takaya and Jin and be thrown into battle with both...

         .========================.
BOSS -- JIN & TAKAYA
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS (Tak) -- Physical (Pierce), Agidyne, Bufudyne, Ziodyne,
                Garudyne, Megido, Mind Charge

SKILLS (Jin) -- Physical (Fire), Maragion, Mudo, Mudoon, Tarukaja
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This isn't really a tough battle, but it can present a few problems
if you're not careful. Jin is susceptible to all attacks except for
fire, while Takaya has no resistances. As you can see above, Takaya
has access to all four elements, as well as Mind Charge and Megido,
so he should be your first target. The reason why I said to bring
Koromaru is because of Jin, who has both Mudo and Mudoon. His
regular attack is fire-elemental, plus he has Maragion, so make
sure you keep your health up.
         '====================================================================='

         After the battle and cutscene, you'll be free to choose your party
         again for the upcoming battle with the last Shadow. I'd at least bring
         Yukari along for healing, but you're free to bring along whoever you
         want. It doesn't really matter, as the Shadow will not block or be
         strong against anything.

         .======================.
BOSS -- HANGED MAN
         |=====================================================================.
SKILLS -- Physical (Strike), God's Hand, Akasha Arts, Summon,
          Armed&Ready
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Before the battle begins, let's get a few things clear. At the
start, you will not be able to attack the Shadow (and he won't be
able to attack you either). There will be three statues in front,
on the ground, and you have to defeat all three before the boss is
vulnerable. Each one corresponds to an element and will block that
element; the left is fire, the middle is ice and the right is
electricity. That means that all of them will be susceptible to
wind, so if you have a Persona that has Magarula, then you'll be
         | able to hit all three. The statues only know the midd
